Cakestand & Dome

The thick stem and solid glass foot make it feel surprisingly sturdy when I carry it to the table, even fully loaded with a heavy layer cake. The dome's fine handle is easy to grip, and the rimmed plate keeps crumbs from sliding off while I slice.

The dome fits perfectly on the rimmed plate, and the glass foot keeps everything steady even with a heavy cake on top. I used it for a batch of scones and it looked lovely on the table.

The glass is thicker than I expected for the price, and the foot is heavy enough that it doesn't wobble when I'm cutting. I use it mostly for scones on weekends, and the dome actually fits a tall pile without squishing them.
