Calice da champagne/cocktail

The grey lustre paint catches the light so beautifully when I swirl a glass of prosecco—it’s like the bowl has its own shimmer. The fine walls feel delicate but sturdy enough for a full pour, and the clean lines make them look just as good on the shelf as in my hand.

I was worried the angular bowl might feel awkward to drink from, but the fine rim makes sipping champagne smooth and elegant. The hand-painted grey lustre catches the light beautifully, adding a modern touch to my table setting.

These have a nice weight in the hand despite how thin the walls are, and the angular bowl feels a lot more modern than the round flutes I used for years. Poured prosecco in them for a birthday dinner and the grey lustre caught the candlelight without looking gaudy.
